The sliding carriage is gravity fed with the food tray angled toward the blade, allowing you to make precise cuts without manually feeding or pushing your roasts, hams, and pork bellies. Plus, the food holder and included hand guard offers added protection. This slicer can slice as thin as 1mm or as thick as 10mm (.4") and any thickness in-between, making it perfect for ultra-thin slices or thicker cuts of beef, chicken breast, dried salami, jerky slices, or even cheese. The stainless steel blade turns at 515 RPM for quick and easy slicing. A one hour run time gives you plenty of time to complete the job in one session. Another great feature of the BigBite Slicer is how quiet it is, making it perfect for use in any setting. And when it comes time to clean up, the sliding feed table, pusher, and blade are all removable for cleaning, making it easier to wipe down and store away until your next use. A cut-resistant glove should be worn when removing, cleaning, or handling the slicer blade.
