AUDIENCE INFORMATION

Beth Declercq, along with her husband Tommy, and their eight children live on a 10-acre family homestead in Michigan. She is passionate about inspiring people to live a hands-on, homegrown life. Beth says, “We didn’t grow up homesteaders. In fact, we were both raised in major cities and never even saw a chicken in person until shortly before we started raising them! Our transition to this lifestyle was initially inspired by our desire to provide more quality food for our young family. But overtime, our appreciation for connecting with each step of the process has continued to expand. We’ve been blessed to gain knowledge and skills over the past 10 years from so many different people through books, videos, and in person instruction. Our hope is to continue that cycle by passing along what we’ve learned to others in the beginning of their journey and provide the same nourishing foods we longed to have for our family to those in our community.”
