Black & Blue Chicken Breast
Ingredients:
- 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts (6 oz each)
- 4 tablespoons Blackening Kickin' Chicken Seasoning
- 1 teaspoon olive oil
- 4 tablespoons blue cheese, crumbled
- 1 teaspoon garlic, minced
Directions:
- Prepare the Chicken:
- Pat the chicken breasts dry with paper towels to remove any excess moisture. This helps the seasoning stick better.
- Drizzle each chicken breast with 1 teaspoon of olive oil. Rub the olive oil evenly across both sides of the chicken.
- Season the Chicken:
- Generously coat both sides of the chicken breasts with Blackening Kickin' Chicken Seasoning. Ensure the seasoning covers the chicken evenly for a bold flavor.
- Grill the Chicken:
- Preheat your grill or grill pan to medium heat (around 350°F).
- Place the seasoned chicken breasts on the grill. Cook for 4-5 minutes per side, flipping the chicken every 3-4 minutes to prevent burning and ensure even cooking.
- Grill the chicken until it reaches an internal temperature of 165°F and the juices run clear.
- Melt the Blue Cheese:
- While the chicken is grilling, combine the blue cheese and minced garlic in a small bowl.
- Once the chicken is cooked, sprinkle the blue cheese and garlic mixture evenly over each chicken breast.
- Melt the Cheese:
- Cover the chicken with a lid or foil and allow the blue cheese to melt, which should take about 1-2 minutes.
- Serve:
- Once the blue cheese is melted and bubbly, remove the chicken from the grill and serve immediately.
- Pair with your favorite side dish, such as roasted vegetables, mashed potatoes, or a simple salad.
? Tip: For an extra smoky flavor, you can also sear the chicken in a cast-iron skillet on the stove before finishing it on the grill. Enjoy your bold and creamy Black & Blue Chicken Breast!
